Thoughts

Dad I cannot quite believe that is already October, the Months and Years seem to go by so quickly. On the 22nd of this month, it will be a year since we lost you from our lives, "1 year" wow I just needed to repeat that and see it written, so that I can try and acknowledge that fact. I think Mum wants to get all the Family together on the 22nd and have a meal and just all be together in the same room again, she misses you so much you know and often wishes you were here to sort out the things around the house that you used to be so good at doing. I also can't believe that Christmas and New Year (your Birthday) are fast approaching, December will certainly be a tough month, but we will get through it in the best way that we know how, afterall we are the Family of the LEGENDARY Alan Hawkins! I love you and miss you so much Dad, I think about you in someway/shape or form everyday and often wonder whether you are looking down upon me, feeling proud of me, because I think you would be proud, as I have come such a long way and become an almost completely different person (but a good different person). Please say hello to Jo, Nanny, Uncle Pete and Uncle Harrison and also Julie for me and let them I know I miss them all dearly. Remember Dad "Your'll Never Walk Alone"
