big and small memories alike will be cherished by me, whether it was work stories like a simple whistle to wind everyone up, or the day i found out Jo was terminal and we didn't know whether to hug or hide our tears from each other. i hope you have guided me to be like you in some small way, kind and generous, brave and tough, a bad loser and a worse winner, a singer and a builder, a good family man and a good friend to people. i thought, along with so many others, that you were indestructible. here forever. well we were wrong, but i hope your life has touched enough people to keep your memory strong in my mind. every day i find myself using one of your silly one-liners, and every day i see the enduring quality of your life when i look at your family. nick
