I never met Alan unfortunately but if he is anything like Kate then what a man. It's comforting to know that through such sadness I feel happy that my dad has gained a new friend in Alan as they were both excellent role models, excellent fathers and I am sure they are both up there watching over us all. I miss my dad more than words can describe and more than anyone knows (apart from Kate) but he would want me to be strong for everyone and Kate you must do the same. I could ramble on all night (just like my dad) but I won't. Alan can you tell dad I love him please as you've just arrived up there. x
